Bayram is a Shagya Stallion bred in Montana out of Oman* x Biala*. Oman* is the only Shagya or Arabian stallion to pass the 100 day International Sporthorse Kuring. Biala* is the granddam of Shagya breeding in the USA. She passes her heartiness and strong topline on to all her babies. Both Bayram's parents are deceased.
Bayram inherited his presence and elegance from Oman*, his heartiness and topline from Biala*, his movement from both. Bayram passes on size, an easy going trainable personality, plus The Shagya Legacy, to all his babies.
The second spring of his life he came to the fence three legged lame. He had broken his knee covorting in the pasture with a buddy. After surgery, removing 15 bone chips, the vet handed me a container of J-flex. He said not to expect him to be sound. My daughter and I refused to accept the diagnosis, but we waited a full two years before backing him. The year he was NASS combined training horse of the year was his last year to jump. He is now schooling third level dressage and is staying sound. He is a hearty horse.
